Admitting

Mon - Fri: 4:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. / If you require admission after-hours, you will be processed through our Emergency Department.

At St. Mary Medical Center, our goal is to make each hospital stay as simple and comfortable as possible. Continuing in our mission to provide compassionate and holistic care, we accept admissions 24 hours a day and make it easy to access our hospital’s services.

During the admission process, you will be asked for a copy of your insurance card, a form of picture identification (e.g., a driver’s license) and a copy of your Advance Healthcare Directive, if you possess one.

If a patient is coming in for a planned surgery, they will need to undergo pre-operation procedures (routine tests). We ask that they provide a form of payment for their co-pay or deductible, along with their identification and insurance card when coming in for pre-op.

You may be asked to sign consent forms for certain types of treatment, tests and procedures. If you do not understand the procedure or test you are asked to consent to, please let us know.

We want to make sure every patient understands the risks, benefits and alternatives available to you for the services you will receive.
