Health Transformation
CORE’s focus on health transformation explores how systems can adapt policy, payment, and practice to improve outcomes.
Healthcare organizations across the U.S. recognize a need to deliver better patient outcomes, enhance the experience of care for individuals, and reduce healthcare costs. Over the past decade or more, key programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, along with commercial payers and healthcare systems, have pursued these health transformation goals through a variety of mechanisms and incentives.
However, the healthcare system is highly complex. As a result, significant change across policies, systems, and practices requires new strategies and innovative thinking, as well as effective measurement. CORE helps meet this challenge by providing research, evaluation, analytics, and design support to health systems, state Medicaid programs, community-level providers, and others seeking to make lasting, positive change.
