Health Disparities
CORE works to drive meaningful improvements in health equity and inform more equitable systems, policies, and communities.
Decades of research in the United States have documented significant and pervasive health disparities, particularly among racial/ethnic minority groups and those of lower socioeconomic status. Community conditions, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation; gender identity, age, disability, socioeconomic status; and geographic location all impact an individual’s ability to achieve good health.
At CORE, we believe everyone should have fair access to resources, advantages, and opportunities to meet their needs. Through collaborative research, evaluation, analytics, and strategic consulting, we seek to understand the root causes of these disparities, such as structural barriers and systemic racism, and develop solutions to address them.
