Welcome to Providence Dethman House. Our HUD-subsidized apartment building is built especially for seniors 62 years and older and younger adults with disabilities. We’re conveniently located between downtown Hood River and The Heights.

Our building is named for the family of Frank and Anna Dethman, longtime members of the Hood River community and owners of Dethman Orchards, a commercial pear farm. The Dethman family generously contributed to the construction of Dethman House, making quality affordable housing available to those in need in our community.

Other eligibility criteria for housing will be verified when an application reaches the top of the wait list (e.g. criminal background check, student status, etc.).
