Providence St. Peter Hospital
Providence St. Peter Hospital is the leading hospital in southwest Washington, providing a full array of services to communities in Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. As a Magnet® recognized hospital, we are committed to nursing excellence as we provide first class health care for the greater Olympia area.
Providence St. Peter Foundation is focused on caring for the poor and vulnerable. Supported ministries include Providence St. Peter Hospital, Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice, Providence Mother Joseph Care Center, Providence St. Francis House, and Providence Medical Group. Donors also make many programs possible such as Animal-Assisted Activities and Therapy, No One Dies Alone, Hospice Respite and Comfort Care, and SoundCareKids - a bereavement program for children who have lost a loved one.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy and productive life. To achieve this, we understand we can’t do it alone. It takes strong community partnerships to reach such an ambitious goal. Caring for our communities has never been more important. To achieve our vision of health for a better world, we worked closely with our community partners to ensure we addressed the communities’ most pressing needs.

Early Detection of Lung Cancer Makes a Difference
Lung cancer can develop without obvious symptoms, making it difficult to diagnosis before the disease reaches its later stages. However, early detection from a lung cancer screening can provide you with a greater variety of treatment options, often leading to better outcomes.
At Providence St. Peter Hospital, our Lung Nodule program helps many patients receive an earlier diagnosis with support from low-dose CT scans that use less radiation, and Ion Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy that offers a less invasive alternative to surgery or needle biopsy.
