Diabetes Care and Education
At Providence, our goal is to provide exceptional care and support to those affected by diabetes. With individualized care plans and quality education, our comprehensive services can help you live with diabetes in a way that fits your lifestyle.
Our diabetes program is accredited by the American Diabetes Association and meets the national standards of diabetes management.
Ask your primary care provider for a referral. Individual counseling and workshops are charged directly to your insurance company, Medicare or Medicaid. Charity care is available to those who have no insurance.
Whether you have been newly diagnosed, or are having trouble managing your diabetes, we recommend meeting face-to-face with a diabetes nurse or nutrition educator.
Our educational workshops are for people with a new diagnosis of diabetes or for those that want of a review of diabetes self-management.
A one-time, 10-day trial with office-owned equipment. This trial is covered by most insurance.
The workshops and individual counseling require a physician referral. The cost is covered by most insurance plans including Medicare. For more information, contact our diabetes coordinator: 509-897-2822.
