Child and Family Therapy

Our therapists offer targeted evidence-based treatment through a family focused lens that helps address problematic behaviors, thoughts and feelings with achievable goal-oriented strategies.

Our highly specialized team of therapists treat a multitude of mental health issues such as exposure to trauma, behavioral problems, anxiety, and depression, among others, by improving communication, increasing coping skills and parent coaching. Additionally, adult mental health services are offered when a parent(s) needs extra support in order to help their child meet their treatment goals.

CFDC’s outpatient services, which include medication evaluation and management, are provided either at the agency in Santa Monica or anywhere in the community we serve including but not limited to: Venice Family Clinic, Boys & Girls Club at Mar Vista Gardens, Central High Alternative School and H.E.L.P.E.R Foundation.
