At Northwest Heart & Lung, we care for patients of all ages with many different heart conditions. We specialize in cardiovascular surgery, including adult and congenital heart surgery and thoracic surgery. For patients with end-stage heart disease, our cardiothoracic organ transplant and mechanical heart teams provide extensive, specialized care. We are one of the few centers in the western United States to offer robotic mitral valve repairs and replacements. The Mitral Foundation recommends choosing a center that performs more than 50 mitral valve procedures annually. Our group performs approximately 180 of these surgeries each year, more than any other heart program in the region.
