Grief Services

Grief services are available free of charge to anyone in the community who has experienced the death or are anticipating the death of a family member or friend. We also offer education, training & support to businesses and schools.

Adult Grief Support
Groups are offered as closed 8-week sessions and open, ongoing groups. Pre-group interview and registration required. Please call the Grief Services Department for current offerings.

Children, Teen & Family Support

• Grief counseling & play therapy for children, teens & families.
• Grief Workshops/Groups offered in Petaluma & Santa Rosa.
• Yearly events offered for families.

Latino Services (Servicios para Latinos)
Services provided in Spanish for individual adults, children, teens, families & couples. Groups subject to availability. Download flier and learn more.

Senior Care Program
Individual and group grief support provided for adults 65+ who are home-bound or living in skilled nursing or residential care facilities.

A variety of one-day events and workshops are offered. Please call for more information.

Crisis Response & Sudden Loss
Crisis response team is available to Schools, Workplaces & Community groups who have experienced a sudden & unexpected loss. We provide grief education and support to help communities recover and re-organize after a loss.

Educational Presentations
We offer presentations by skilled grief counselors for schools, community providers and agencies.
