Why Choose Us for Your Spine Care?

When you’re living in pain, every part of your life can be affected. Our neuroscience specialists treat your spine, back and neck conditions so you feel like yourself again. Here’s why so many patients choose the Covenant Health Spine Program each year to help them manage their pain:

Spine conditions can lead to chronic pain that can make it difficult to move your body in the usual ways. You may be unable to participate in your favorite activities or even to perform everyday tasks. We understand how discouraging this can be, and at Covenant Health we work with you to find the least invasive, most personalized treatment to bring you relief. We offer many options for spine care. Surgery is usually the last choice after other therapies have been considered, and we work closely with your primary care provider to choose the best treatment for you.

If you do need surgery, our fellowship-trained, board-certified neurosurgeons have the experience and skills to give you the best outcomes. In partnership with Grace Surgical Hospital, they perform many types of neurosurgery, from complex spine surgery to minimally invasive procedures. Your neurosurgeon works with other specialists, such as trauma and orthopedic surgeons, to ensure you get coordinated care as you heal. If your spine condition is related to cancer, your surgeon will work closely with your oncologist and radiation oncologist to plan your care. Your care team monitors your spine condition well beyond surgery. They may suggest rehabilitation to help you recover.

We have a state-of-the-art neuro hybrid biplane room that contains surgical equipment as well as advanced imaging systems. Here, our neuroscience specialists can see real-time patient imaging data, so they can diagnose and treat you in the same room on the same day. This saves valuable time and gets you on the road to recovery faster. In the biplane room, our neurosurgeons provide both minimally invasive and open treatments for strokes, aneurysms and other neurosurgical conditions. We also have advanced neuro-navigation capabilities, which help surgeons more accurately place instruments during surgery.
