Clinic Frequently Asked Questions
Kadlec ExpressCare takes care of the common conditions that get you down, on your schedule. No waiting rooms – just book online and choose a time at expresscare.kadlec.org. We’re here for things like coughs and colds, strains and sprains, rashes, earaches, UTIs, and more. We provide screenings and tests too.
If we can’t take care of you, we’ve got a powerful network of Kadlec providers we’ll connect you with. Unlike those other same-day clinics, your records don’t fall into a black hole – we’re integrated with Kadlec primary care, so your primary care physician stays connected with your treatments and history, even at ExpressCare. We’re here for the care you need right now, while keeping you connected with your broader care community
Vaccines aren’t available in our ExpressCare at Walgreens clinics, but we do in our standalone clinics – flu; tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap); and tetanus diphtheria (Td). Visit expresscare.kadlec.org to find a local standalone ExpressCare near you. Some vaccines are age-restricted – call 888-227-3312 for details.
Your provider will let you know when to expect your results – it’s usually around 3-5 days. You’ll receive a secure email with the results and if you have MyChart (previously My K-Chart) they’ll be available there as well. One of our providers will reach out to discuss the results with you if anything is abnormal.
We don’t have an X-ray capability on site. If your provider confirms you need an X-ray, she or he will make plans for you to get one. You can also visit our website to find a Kadlec urgent care location that can address your needs.
Only in our standalone ExpressCare clinics, not in our ExpressCare at Walgreens clinics. In our standalone clinics, we can test for tuberculosis (TB) through the purified protein derivative (PPD) skin test. Visit expresscare.kadlec.org to find a local standalone ExpressCare near you.
Yes. We can screen for STDs through urine tests and diagnose symptoms with a genital exam.
Our provider will take a look at your condition and let you know if you need any blood work.
While we don’t prescribe or refill controlled medications (narcotic pain medications, opioids, benzodiazepines, schedule medications, etc.), we can evaluate your medical condition. You will need to talk to your prescribing provider for controlled medication refills.
For motor vehicle accidents, our providers can evaluate you and recommend any additional treatment options.
For workers compensation (L&I) visits, we can see you for your initial visit to start the claim and then recommend follow up at your nearest Occupational Health clinic.
You can call 888-227-3312, or if you have MyChart (previously My K-Chart), you can message your provider directly there.
Please bring the form you need completed with you to your visit and our provider will evaluate you to complete the form or will help you navigate your care.
