Adult Inpatient Psychiatry
At any age, mental, emotional or behavioral troubles can build walls between you and those you love. You may experience chronic sadness, anxiety or confusion. Some conditions, such as eating disorders, phobias or addictions, can mask underlying physical or mental health problems.

If you or a loved one experiences a mental health crisis such as a suicide attempt or violent thoughts and behaviors, call 911 or seek professional help immediately. After you’ve been evaluated, emergency psychiatric counselors may recommend a psychosocial and risk evaluation to see whether additional steps are needed.
Our counselors work closely with the Crisis Services within Spokane to provide individualized treatment in a safe setting.
Our adult psychiatry unit treats adults ages 18 and older who need inpatient treatment for mental illness. Care providers focus on short term stabilization by managing your symptoms to support your transition to outpatient care and therapies.
