Child Neurology and Developmental Medicine
Child Neurology and Developmental Medicine
Our specialty providers at Providence Child Neurology and Developmental Medicine care for children and families coping with some of childhood’s most significant neurologic and developmental conditions. Our child neurologists work diligently to address acute and chronic neurologic conditions and seizure disorders. Our team provides compassionate care to the families and understands what it’s like to experience these challenges day in and day out. We partner with you, your child’s primary care provider and other pediatric specialists to give your child every possible advantage.
Our developmental pediatricians work in collaboration with your child’s educators, behavioral health providers and pediatric therapists to help diagnose and provide guidance for your family. Our developmental pediatricians provide a comprehensive evaluation and have specialized training in learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and language delays, dyslexia and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
We’re here for you every step of the way from diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. We also offer support for parents to help you successfully manage your child’s specialized care. If you think your child may need specialized services, please consult with your primary care physician for consideration of a referral.
Our pediatric experts understand your fears and offer a variety of services to help your child be the best they can be. It’s important to us to empower parents with the information and support you need to be an advocate for your child.
Our goal is to understand and control your child’s seizures, lower the side effects and restore your child’s quality of life.
