Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program is a unique introduction to a career in health care in collaboration with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. This training program allows participants to gain on-the-job work experience, classroom education and clinical training to accelerate your career, and provides an excellent foundation for a variety of health care roles and specialties.
This six-week program consists of simultaneous classroom and lab training for the first three weeks and then clinical rotations and review sessions for the subsequent three weeks. Students will gain the required knowledge and skill sets to work in direct patient care alongside medical providers in both acute and long-term care facilities.
All participants are able to apply for the Providence Health Training CNA Program through the Providence career portal.
Participants are also able to enroll in the course directly. This tuition based enrollment model is independent of the employment pathway within Providence.
Prerequisites include:
- At least 18 years of age
- Physically capable of performing the duties of a CNA
