With empathetic care and treatments, our comprehensive team of perinatal specialists evaluate symptoms and provide treatment for maternal-fetal conditions such as:

  • Multiple gestations (twins, triplets, etc.)
  • Fetal anomalies
  • History of fetal or genetic anomalies in a prior pregnancy
  • History of preterm birth or labor
  • Advanced maternal age
  • Diabetes, both gestational and Type 1 or Type 2
  • Maternal hypertension

Committed to caring for both mothers and babies, services at the Center for Maternal-Fetal Health include:

  • Non-stress test – Evaluates your baby’s well-being by monitoring heart-rate
  • Prenatal ultrasound with 3D/4D capabilities - Various ultrasound screenings enable us to follow fetal development through each stage of pregnancy and share information with your obstetrician
  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) – First trimester ultrasound to determine whether your baby is at risk for chromosomal abnormalities
  • Fetal Echocardiography - A specialized ultrasound that details the structure of the baby's heart
  • Genetic testing and counseling - If you have a family history of certain diseases, genetic testing can be used to find out if these diseases can be inherited.
  • Amniocentesis - A small sampling of amniotic fluid is collected during the second trimester if it is suspected that your baby may have a possible chromosomal abnormality such as Down syndrome or other genetic conditions.
  • Chorionic Villus sampling (CVS) - A small sampling performed during the first trimester that may also provide information on chromosomal abnormalities if needed.
