Orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation: Specially trained and certified therapists use manual techniques coupled with one-on-one individualized treatment sessions to decrease pain and restore lost function related to injury, trauma and surgery.
Neurological rehabilitation: Using a team approach, physical, occupational and speech therapists specialize in the rehabilitative treatment for neurological diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's/movement disorders and vestibular/balance disorders. The team focuses on restoring function, balance and independence in the home and community.
Vestibular rehabilitation: Specialized therapists treat patients with many conditions that create dizziness and balance problems that can lead to falls and interfere with daily living.
Hand rehabilitation: In our highly specialized program, certified hand therapists create individualized programs that include manual therapy, custom splinting, modalities and education to improve function and reduce pain. Work conditioning and functional training are emphasized.
Lymphedema treatment: Internationally certified lymphedema specialists have expertise in treating both primary and secondary lymphedema. We use an interdisciplinary approach with wound care and treatment of secondary complications for involved/severe cases.
Oncology rehabilitation: Our therapists have received advanced training in evaluating and treating side effects and the after effects of cancer treatment including: weakness/fatigue, pain, post-mastectomy shoulder pain, lymphedema, loss of function, incontinence and dysphagia. They also offer wellness/prevention programs.
Continence restoration: Our expert therapists use a four-week program of pelvic floor muscle retraining, biofeedback, electrical stimulation and home exercise to provide successful treatments for patients with stress, urge or mixed urinary incontinence.
Pediatric rehabilitation: Specialized therapists provide personalized care and family consultations for young patients from newborns to adolescents. We provide comprehensive therapeutic, developmental, swallowing, speech, language and hearing services.
Work start: A comprehensive work conditioning and functional training program designed to get patients back to work. Our team uses ergonomic assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work hardening treatment and post-hire back screens to keep patients moving safely.
Speech and language therapy: As part of your health care team, we collaborate to provide professional and proven evaluations and treatments using the latest technologies such as VitalStim® for improving swallowing disorders, as well as memory retraining to return the patient to independent living.
