Quality & Safety
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is committed providing compassionate, reliable and safe care. That’s why we continually implement quality initiatives that ensure our patients receive the absolute best care. Our quality dashboard shows ours progress on five quality measures.
The doctors, nurses and staff of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center have been recognized for excellence for more than 46 years. Providence Holy Cross may be best known for the extraordinary care provided by our Trauma Center team of physicians, nurses, and staff, who are among the busiest in Los Angeles County. In addition, we became an ANCC Magnet Designated Hospital in 2007 awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center; we are a STEMI Receiving Center approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services; we have been accredited by the Commission of Accredited Rehabilitation Facilities in 2008; and we were named one of the best places to work in San Fernando Valley in 2008 by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal . These outstanding achievements of our hospital can be directly attributed to the wonderful work of our doctors, nurses, therapists, and clinicians providing care to our patients throughout the hospital.
With a commitment to providing outstanding care to our surrounding communities, the Providence Holy Cross Health Center Porter Ranch offers urgent care, pharmacy, imaging center, women's wellness center, laboratory, as well as physicians offices. The Providence Holy Cross Health Center in Santa Clarita provides residents with a state-of-the-art surgery center, imaging center, cancer center, and laboratory. Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills is currently expanding its facilities with the addition of a 142-bed patient care wing scheduled to open in 2011, making Providence Holy Cross the second largest acute care hospital in the San Fernando Valley. The new wing will include a new Women's Pavilion featuring Labor and Delivery Suites and a 12-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, an expanded pharmacy and lab, GI lab, as well as new chapel to meet the spiritual needs of our patients.
