Clinical Trials
Providence Brain and Spine Institute is a comprehensive Center of Excellence treating all conditions of the brain and spine. Our providers are dedicated to finding advanced treatments for neurological conditions through involvement in progressive clinical trials, both sponsored and investigator initiated.
What is a Clinical Trial?
Clinical trials are research studies that test whether new medical treatments, strategies or devices are safe and effective. We are currently conducting trials in the following areas:
- ALS
- Neuro-oncology
- Dementia
- Epilepsy
- Headache
- Multiple sclerosis
- Stroke/neurosurgery
Our research caregivers work directly with our neurologists and neurosurgeons to identify clinical trials appropriate for your specific type and stage of disease. Patients who choose to take part in clinical trials have access to medications and devices that may improve their health status and quality of life. Participating in a clinical trial may help others with the same condition by advancing medicine through discovering breakthroughs, safe treatments and early detection of disease.
