Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation can help you improve your heart health if you’ve had a heart attack or surgery or are at risk for heart problems.
We help you learn about your condition and what contributes to heart disease in a nonjudgmental, caring environment. We help you take control of your risk factors with education, monitored exercise and lifestyle guidance. Our goal is to improve your physical health and your mental well-being. Heart problems can be frightening and cause you to feel anxious. We help you overcome your fears and feel more confident about your future.
Our cardiac rehab program has worked with thousands of people. In each case, we personalize treatment to your unique needs.
We help identify risk factors that may affect heart health, including:
- Elevated cholesterol
- High blood pressure
- Lack of exercise
- Smoking
We also look into related risk factors, such as:
- Diabetes
- Family history
- Obesity
- Stress
Based on your risk profile, we can offer guidance on making positive lifestyle changes.
We offer classes for you and your family. The classes are designed to help you better understand heart disease and how we treat it.
We use guided exercise to build your strength and help you improve your cardiovascular health. Classes meet three times a week for six to 12 weeks. Our providers work to make sure your activity level is safe and comfortable for you.
