The Mobile Dental Clinic was founded by the hospital and its partners to address a major health need of children in our community: access to dental care. Dental cavities are the single most common chronic disease of childhood, occurring more frequently than asthma. Licensed by the California Department of Health Services, full-service dental care is provided to low-income families in specific Napa County neighborhoods.
In addition to treatment, patients and their families receive oral health education about causes of tooth decay, the importance of nutrition and instruction in the practice of good oral hygiene.
Sliding scale fees are available for uninsured patients.
The Dental Van is open 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday and located at Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s Northeast Parking Lot (the last left entrance to the hospital on Villa Lane).
