Designed for patients who suffer from critical diseases and illnesses, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center’s Critical and Intensive Care Unit provides comprehensive progress monitoring and extensive treatments within a comfortable and family centered environment.

Considerate care

We understand that being admitted to an intensive care unit can be stressful and frightening for patients and their families. Should you or a loved one find yourself requiring the services of an intensive care unit, our caregivers and staff will work to create as peaceful and calm an environment as possible.

Intensive expertise

In order to provide the best critical care possible, our ICU is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed with a multidisciplinary team of trained professionals. Our nursing teams have advanced life support training and work closely with specialists and experienced physicians to provide 24-hour monitoring and care.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours at the ICU are from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m, with a quiet time between 7 and 8:30 p.m. After hours, one visitor may stay in the patient’s room. These designated visitors are expected to stay in the patient’s room and immediate vicinity. Because critical care areas can be overwhelming, we don’t encourage children under the age of 12 to visit the ICU.
