Mumina's Story

"I am from Somalia. All of my family is in Africa, though I do have some relatives in Minnesota. I am here by myself and have made a lot of friends in this neighborhood. My best friend lives in the same building and we visit each other a lot.

A friend of mine who used to live here told me about Providence Supportive Housing and how much she liked the staff here. I have lived here four years and I also like the staff.

I have lived in the U.S. 10 years. I cook a lot at home and like to walk around the neighborhood."
