Hae's Story
"I was born in Seoul, Korea in 1916. There, I was a practitioner of Moxibustion, a form of acupuncture. Dressed in traditional Korean clothes, I came alone to the United States on July 1, 1989 to live with my daughter.
In 2007, I moved to Providence Supportive Housing. I was attracted to here because I was deeply influenced by the Prayer of St. Francis when I lived in Korea. I am Buddhist and try to love everything alive in this world.
The birds outside my apartment make me happy and I tend to their needs. This is a perfect home. It couldn’t be better."
