Providence Stroke and Cognitive Care Center is part of the Providence Spokane Neuroscience Institute, located on the Sacred Heart campus.
Our Stroke program provides the highest level of care in the region. We offer all-inclusive, coordinated stroke care – from prevention and diagnosis through treatment, including our Neurohospitalist team for acute stroke care.
Our specialists also offer evaluation and treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment and other dementias.
- Stroke Services
Strokes and Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA) occur when blood flow to the brain is disrupted, which keeps brain cells from receiving the oxygen they need to live. Our team of specialists provide a wide-range of treatments and rehabilitative services tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances. - Cognitive Care
Our Cognitive Care specialists provide diagnosis, evaluation and treatment for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
