Grief Support

Providence Grief Support Services offers various support groups to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one.

Crisis Line Resources

  • The Crisis Clinic of Thurston and Mason Counties: The Crisis clinic offers 24/7 continuous support for anyone in crisis. For immediate support call 360-586-2800.
  • Lewis County Crisis Line: The Lewis County Crises Line is a 24-hour service provided by Cascade Mental Health Clinic. During business hours please ask to speak with the Designated Mental Health Professional. For immediate support call 360-748-6696 or 800-559-6696.

Virtual Grief Support Offerings for Adults

Adult grief support groups offer an opportunity to meet with trained facilitators and other individuals who have experienced a loss. All groups are open to the community and free of charge. For more information, contact one of the following:

Adult Grief Support Group - Open and Continuous

The Adult Grief Support Group is offered the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month (excluding holidays), 10 - 11:30 a.m.

Growing Through Grief – Closed Groups

Growing Through Grief groups are 6 week intensive support groups that focus on specific losses. These groups are offered twice per quarter. Due to high demand, you may be placed on a waiting list.
