Integrative medicine is not intended to be an alternative to standard cancer treatment. The current body clinical evidence has not identified any alternatives to standard medical care which have been shown to be effective against any cancer as standalone treatment. Integrative medicine utilizes both standard medical care and complementary modalities to help promote health and healing.
