Sports medicine for athletes

Many patients will not need surgery to improve muscle or joint pain from an injury. Seeing a board-certified sports medicine physician should be your first step to recovery. Our team will diagnose the cause of your symptoms and, with our physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons, build a personalized treatment plan. Learn more about our sports medicine program.

You should speak with an orthopedic provider if you:

  • Suffer from constant or ongoing joint pain

Patients scheduled for total joint replacement must attend an education session prior to surgery. This ensures you have all the information you need about how to prepare for surgery, what to expect on the day of surgery, and what you should know about your recovery.
