Through the Hycy and Howard Hill Neuroscience Institute, our Neurology Department provides comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders that require frequent and extensive care.
Our neurologists also act as expert consultants to other physicians for conditions such as stroke, concussion or chronic headaches. In a consulting role, a neurologist will diagnosis and treat a neurological disorder and then advise the primary care physician who manages the patient's overall health.
Our professionals work in partnership with each patient and their physicians to coordinate care and develop an appropriate neurology treatment program. When treatment includes surgery, our neurologists carefully monitor patients and supervise their continuing treatment. Some of the conditions treated by through our Neurology Program include:
