Staying Healthy
During well-child visits, we do a physical exam and provide preventive care, such as immunizations. We also offer advice on diet and nutrition, safety and the general care of growing kids. Seeing your child on a regular basis gives us the chance to monitor their growth and development as well. We track things like height, weight and developmental milestones such as speech and emotional growth.
These visits can be valuable for you too. It’s a lot of work raising a child. You’re bound to have questions and concerns. We partner with you to care for your child and give you the time and help you need to do that well. As children get older, we also bring them into this partnership. A strong relationship between all of us helps keep your child healthy and well.
We’re always available to see children who are sick. However, bringing your child to us for an illness shouldn’t take the place of a well-child exam. Exams devoted exclusively to health and wellness have their own goals and benefits.
If you’re concerned about your child’s health or development before it’s time for your next well-child exam, feel free to contact us any time.
