Conditions Treated
We treat adults and children ages 10 and up (depending on the diagnosis) for:
- Balance disorders
- Hearing loss
- Tinnitus, a persistent ringing in your ears
Personalized Diagnostics and Treatment
We go beyond a quick, one-size-fits-all hearing test. By listening closely to each patient, we’re able to provide the compassionate and individualized care that you deserve for your specific hearing condition.
Our expert audiologists use a comprehensive range of personalized audiology tests to assess hearing loss accurately. Each test is used for different reasons to help inform treatment recommendations.
Hearing loss tends to occur slowly, over time. Before considering a hearing aid, you may explore other available options. Your customized care plan may include one or more of the following:
- Acoustic reflex thresholds and reflex decay
- Functional hearing loss tests – customized based on findings
- Hearing aid evaluation
- Hearing aid recommendation, fitting and adjustment
- Immittance testing: tympanometry
- Middle ear assessment
- Pure-tone air and bone conduction testing
- Tinnitus evaluation

Protecting your ears is the key to hearing loss prevention.
- If your job exposes you to hazardous noises, make sure proper safety equipment is provided. Hearing protection – earplugs and earmuffs – is essential when working around loud equipment. It’s also a good idea to bring along earplugs if you’re participating in a noisy recreational activity, e.g., a football game or rock concert.
- At home, limit your exposure to noisy activities, and keep the volume down on the television, stereo and personal music players.
- Refrain from inserting cotton swabs or other objects into your ears or blowing your nose forcefully.
- Refrain from smoking. Studies show those who use tobacco are more likely to suffer from hearing loss.
- Regardless of age, have your hearing tested regularly. Early detection is key. While noise-related hearing loss can’t be reversed, you can take steps to avoid further damage to your hearing.
