Community Focus and Personalized Care Are Our Priorities

Our dedicated staff embodies a spirit of inclusivity and embraces the individuality of each person in our assisted living community at Irvington Village. We take pride in fostering a sense of belonging. We know that true care begins with acknowledging and respecting each person’s unique personality, background and aspirations. Through this compassionate approach, we strive to create a community where everyone feels valued, understood and supported.

We are proudly part of Providence ElderPlace Oregon.

Providence ElderPlace Housing Mission Statement

Providence ElderPlace housing communities are built on relationships and respect. Residents collaborate with staff to build support that will uphold their unique goals, life experiences, identities and dignity.

Our dedication to resident-centered care and being inclusive creates safe, secure and stable spaces for all we serve.

Irvington Covenant Church Pastor Henry Greenidge envisioned a place where older adults could stay in their Northeast Portland community and have access to affordable, quality assisted housing. The vision became reality in 2002 with the opening of Irvington Village assisted living.

In 2009, Providence ElderPlace assumed operations of Irvington Village, ensuring the community remained a key resource for affordable senior living and Medicaid-funded services in Northeast Portland.

At Irvington Village assisted living, we maintain a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere, where we prioritize personalized care. You can be yourself and know our staff will treat you with compassion and respect.

We put your needs and preferences at the center of our care. We work with you to develop an individualized care plan that focuses on your strengths, and together we identify areas where we can provide support to help you maintain your highest level of independence. Our goal is peace of mind for you and your family.

We accept Medicaid and welcome people of any gender identity or expression, race, color, or national origin.
