About Juliana E. Asencio
Juliana Asencio is a physician assistant in the urology department. After attending the University of Florida for her Bachelor's in Health Science, she then went back and received an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She practiced in various inpatient adult health settings (ICU, stepdown, telemetry) for 3 years and even did some travel nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic. After this, she attended PA school at Nova Southeastern University Fort Myers. Juliana has discovered her biggest passions are patient education and forming relationships. Urology is a uniquely intimate specialty that allows her to meet patients in some of the most vulnerable conditions, and she does her best to respect and honor this in every patient encounter.

Outside of work, Juliana enjoys playing the piano, reading both fiction and nonfiction books, enjoying the beautiful nature of the Tri Cities, and spending time with her husband and cat. As a Florida native, she is enjoying the summers and dreading the winters up here.
