About Vera A. Trofimenko
Dr. Trofimenko is a urologist who sees both men and women,
She received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine and a Master’s in Clinical Research degrees at University California San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Trofimenko completed a general surgery internship at the UCLA Medical Center, followed by a urology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She then completed a subspecialty fellowship in urologic prosthetic surgery.
Dr. Trofimenko performs a wide spectrum of the latest minimally invasive and endoscopic urologic procedures for stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary incontinence, and cancers of the bladder and the prostate.
Partnering with her patients to develop an individualized and evidence-based treatment plan tailored to fit each patient's goals and priorities, Dr. Trofimenko is deeply committed to providing efficient and high-quality care.
Dr. Trofimenko grew up in San Diego, California. She speaks Russian, Spanish, French and Hebrew. Her hobbies include hiking, travel, and spending time with her Australian Shepard.
