About Alexa Y. J. Chai
Dr. Chai is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urologic Association. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry from Emory University and received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia. She completed her General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo where she was also named educational chief resident.
She underwent multidisciplinary urologic training which included specialization in stone disease, laparoscopic surgery and female urology. She also received surgical and clinical training at Roswell Park Cancer institute.
She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children. Her approach to medical practice is to treat each of her patients as she would do for the members of her family.
