Michael J. Hyman, MD

Michael J. Hyman, MD, specializes in urology. Dr. Hyman received his medical degree from Cornell University, New York and completed his urologic residency at New York and Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He completed additional training and expertise in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Hyman's urologic sub-specialty experience includes infertility, incontinence, kidney stones, benign prostate enlargement, erectile dysfunction, and cancers of the kidney, prostate, testicles and bladder. He has developed a major focus in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery and is heading the urologic division of robotic surgery at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Hyman is a member of the American Urologic Association, the Western Section American Urologic Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, and the California Medical Association. He also is an associate member of the Endourological Society.
