About Rebecca A. Madore
Rebecca received her master's degree in Communication Disorders from the College of St. Rose in 2008. She is an advanced concussion clinician in addition to treating a diverse range of cognitive and neurological disorders. Rebecca is certified in SPEAK OUT!® and VitalStim® treatments to help voice and swallowing disorders, and is further informed by a background in professional singing and performance. She treats voice for people with total laryngectomy for tracheo-esophageal speech or use of electrolarynx and well as provides transgender voice therapy. Rebecca specializes in treating cognitive impairments (Attention, Memory, Organizing, Problem-Solving) due to COVID, cancer-related treatments, stroke, and progressive neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease. Rebecca is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and served for two years as Clinical Expert in the Providence Neurogenic Clinical Advancement Program. Outside of work, she loves moving through the mountains, ice- and rock-climbing, as well as dancing and singing with friends.
