About Christopher M. Lee
Dr. Lee graduated cum laude in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University in 1997. His undergraduate education included a summer research fellowship at Harvard University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He subsequently attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he received his MD with Distinction in Research in 2001. He completed four additional years of specialty training in Radiation Oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital and University of Utah Medical Center during which he received multiple national awards. Dr. Lee is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and also a Clinical Associate Professor at Washington State University (WSU) Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. He enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in ongoing clinical and research projects. Dr. Lee has also served on the International Elekta Gamma Knife Perfexion/ICON Advisory Group, and is the Research Director for Gamma Knife of Spokane. Dr. Lee has actively pursued both basic science and clinical research throughout his career. He has authored multiple scientific articles in top medical publications including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), and CANCER. Additionally, he has given multiple presentations and written text book chapters on modern radiotherapy techniques and the use of radiotherapy in the care of patients with prostate, brain, head and neck, lung, breast and gynecologic malignancies.
