Cristina E. Zadroga, PhD

“We’re all doing our best to live in this world,” says Dr. Zadroga, “and sometimes we need reminders to prioritize our health and needs. I’m here to support my patients’ mental and physical health.”

Drawn to psychology by her desire to better understand the human condition, Dr. Zadroga has come to believe that people have more similarities than differences. “My role is to understand my patients’ life stories, and to help them be the best versions of themselves that they can be,” she says.

A graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, Dr. Zadroga earned her doctorate in psychology at Alliant International University in California. She completed her internship at Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla, Calif., and her residency at Asian Americans for Community Involvement in San Jose. She also gained specialized training in addiction medicine through a fellowship in chemical dependency services at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose.

Outside of the office, says Dr. Zadroga, “I am a mom, a wife, and a person just like you.”
