Dr. Vanessa Casillas considers her most important role to be that of a collaborator with her patients. "I enjoy getting the opportunity to work alongside my patients to make positive changes in their lives," she says. "Ultimately, I desire to work with my patients to help them meet their goals."

Dr. Casillas takes a holistic approach to patient care and strives to build on her patients' motivations and strengths. "I believe that all patients are capable of making positive changes in their lives and are worth the time and energy necessary to help them do so."

After earning her doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, Dr. Casillas completed an internship and fellowship at Patton State Hospital in Patton, California.

In her free time she enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and friends.
