Tyler C. Duffield, PhD

As a behavioral sleep medicine specialist, says Dr. Duffield, “The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing how drastically different and improved people’s health and quality of life can be after they overcome insomnia or other sleep disorders.”

An evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Duffield has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). His approach is patient-centered, with an emphasis on compassion and collaboration.

Dr. Duffield attended Colorado State University for his bachelor’s degree, and Brigham Young University for his PhD, where he pursued his interest in the relationship between the brain and behavior. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship training in behavioral sleep medicine and neuropsychology at Oregon Health & Science University.

In addition to being a doctor, he is a father, a husband and an outdoor enthusiast.
