Susan K. Glinka, PsyD

Susan Glinka, PsyD, was drawn to clinical psychology out of a desire to help patients improve their health and wellness by caring for mind and body, together. She loves how the integration of behavioral health in primary care enables her to serve as a partner with her patients and provide holistic care to promote health and wellness.

Dr. Glinka takes a collaborative approach in her practice so that together she and her patients can explore social and emotional aspects of health to empower them to make healthy changes. “My greatest reward in practice is the opportunity to witness the positive changes in patients’ lives,” she says. “The most successful partnership is rooted in creating an open and accepting space with patients. This way, we can build on patients’ individual motivations and strengths.”

Specializing in health psychology, Dr. Glinka earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University School of Graduate Psychology. She then went on to complete an internship with HealthEast Care System in Minnesota and her residency program with Providence Medical Group Bridgeport.

Born and raised in California, Dr. Glinka came to the Pacific Northwest to complete her doctoral program.
