About Elizabeth J. Hawkey
I have always been inspired by the resiliency of children and the dynamic nature of brain development - especially now that our connected world has gotten so complicated, and our attention is constantly divided! In my practice, my goal is to support neurodiverse children and adolescents by collaboratively developing self-regulation and coping strategies.
Throughout my work in academic medical centers and community clinics, I have been struck by how difficult it is for families to access evidence-based behavioral treatments or even connect with a child provider. I will continue to work on increasing the accessibility of evidenced-based behavioral treatments for kids and their caregivers and I feel grateful that I am able to work with the community in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. It is such a special place where I have developed friendships with my neighbors and enjoy making pottery, hiking, and paddle boarding with my partner and dog, Maisy.
