Lindsay K. Kuo, PsyD

Having spent her childhood living in many different places throughout the United States and abroad, Dr. Kuo appreciates the impact of environment and culture on children, adults and families. As a behavioral health provider, she says, “I seek to help people learn how their past experiences may be affecting their current difficulties.” To facilitate this process, she uses evidenced-based treatments that draw on a variety of models, from cognitive-behavioral models to family-system and biopsychosocial cultural models.

Dr. Kuo values providing individualized care from a multidisciplinary approach to increase overall well-being. “I’m passionate about serving patients with complex medical needs and those from underserved multicultural populations,” she says.

A graduate of New York University, Dr. Kuo completed her doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis on children and adolescents, at Pacific University. She received specialized training in pediatric health psychology through her internship at The University of Texas at Tyler and her fellowship at Children’s Health/Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kuo enjoys exploring the outdoors and taking in Oregon’s natural beauty with her family and her dog, Rory.
