Laura Milner, PsyD, likes working in a primary care setting because it's the first place people gain access to behavioral health services. She enjoys partnering with her patients' primary care providers and hopes the collaboration contributes to normalizing the idea that there is a mind/body connection.

Dr. Milner wants potential patients to know that seeing a psychologist doesn't have to be a scary proposition. "My goal is the help patients remove obstacles that may be getting in the way of health and well-being," she says.

After completing her undergraduate degree in child psychology at University of Minnesota, Dr. Milner went on to earn her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University.

Born and raised in Western Montana, Dr. Milner moved to Portland more than a decade ago and loves that Portland offers a mix of outdoor adventures and city life.
