About Mary Ameh
Following her undergraduate studies, Mary received a master’s degree from Winston Salem State University in North Carolina and then continued on to earn her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. A board certified Primary and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Mary primarily focuses on helping patients manage the lifespan of their mental health conditions. With a strong emphasis on patient-centric care, Mary uses a motivational approach grounded in evidence-based practices placing patient well-being at the core of her work. Mary is compassionate, kind, and approachable allowing her to build and maintain trusting provider-patient relationships, which is an integral part of planning effective care and therapeutic management.
