About Maria L. Savitt
Dr. Maria Savitt is a board certified internist for over 30 years with experience in the treatment of chronic diseases, such as hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes, to name a few. She takes pride and joy in caring for her patients and keeping them as healthy as possible by making up-to-date health recommendations. She encourages her patients to partner with her in achieving health goals through active participation in a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Savitt's favorite aspect of the physician/patient relationship is the mutuality of trust and desire to work for a common goal, based on scientific recommendations and patients' preferences. Underlying good communication between patient and doctor is always of utmost importance.
Dr. Savitt's hobbies include participating in book clubs with friends, gardening, going for daily walk with her 4 dogs, and spending time with her husband and 4 grown sons.

Some of the questions were moot because this was my very first visit with Dr. Savitt as my new GP so she did not have access to one set of records but I brought copies for her and we went through them. She did order updated lab work. Thank you!
