Dr. Shin saw me on an emergency basis, listened to me closely and recommended me to further help. Later, after learning that I was in St. Jude hospital, he called me to see how I was doing. That follow-up was a surprise....and appreciated. Dr. Shin will now be my primary provider !!

Very thorough

We just changed to this primary care Dr and he is very through and caring respectful Dr. He was up on everything Just like we had been going to him for years Our first time with him was very nice. Glad we have him John Shin is an out standing Dr who cares about his patients you need more Dr's like him

I would like to address some areas for improvement in my recent medical experience. While the physician conducted a numbing test and examined my ears, I believe that a more comprehensive evaluation would have been beneficial, particularly in light of my persistent migraine. I was surprised my throat was not examined despite reporting ear pain, as this is typically standard procedure following an ear examination. It was unexpected to experience a sore throat two days after the appointment. Considering the prolonged duration of my migraine, I had expected to be referred for further tests. However, it is essential to acknowledge that perspectives may vary for patients, although the ultimate goal is to ensure the best possible care.

Dr Shin was new to me, but I was immediately comfortable and felt respected. He was easy to be with and knowledgeable about what I needed.

I thought that Dr. Shin was good, but did not have time to review my health records. I recently (two weeks ago) had neck pain and decided to see my cardioloigsit because something felt off. I was correct and two days after the visit, two stents were put in for 100% blockage. I continue to feel the same neck pain as well as a cough that only occurrs when I am laying down and shift from right to left side or vice/versa (not during the day) and tried to get an appointment with my regular doctor (Garces) but could not get an appointment until mid-November. I settled for an appointment with a nurse practicioner. On the day of the appointment I was caught in traffic and was late for the appointment, so I was redirected to Dr. Shin. The wait was minimal and I was happy to get his time. When I left the visit, I had three new prescriptions for sinus issues. One o f them was for Sudafed. There are warnings on the box for taking with other medications and for certain medical conditions such as high blood pressure or heart disease (I have both). None of these address the neck pain or the night cough. I am appreciative of Dr. Shin seeing me and I realize that he did not have the opportunity to read my records, but do not feel like the issue that I went in for was addressed.

My Primary Care Physician had retired earlier this year. I established care with Dr. Shin and it was the same time that I am going through a Workers' Comp Injury that has turned into something a little more complex. Dr. Shin and his staff has certainly exceeded all my expectations.

For a new patient Dr. Shin made me feel listened to, and comfortable. He was very thorough. I appreciate him very much

I was surprised and pleased to get an appointment the same day I called. The doctor was thorough in running tests for the type of infection. Best of all, they called back that day to give me the test results and followed up Monday morning. Wonderful service.
