My overall experience with Dr. Higashi was good. I do believe that doctors need to listen to their patients a little bit more. I have a allergy to nickel, and when the rash started breaking out on my leg because of the hardware that was put in me had trace some out of nickels in it When I brought it to Dr. Higashi's attention, it was kind of dismissed as a follicle rash when I knew for certain it was not a follicle rash it took a week of my leg, getting worse and worse before somebody started paying attention to it once again overall, Dr. Higashi was a great surgeon and a great doctorI just wish she would listen more to the patient and their concerns but overall she was fantastic.

Getting an appointment was difficult as Dr Higashi is extremely busy. I was lucky and gained an appointment as my concern for my big toe being infected. Dr Higashi removed my toenail, provided information on how I needed to treat the area and made a follow up appointment that is much appreciated. She was kind and professional throughout a difficult process.

My first visit with this doctor was very informative and she was very attentive to my medical issue.

Dr. Higashi is a very competent and efficient podiatrist; she explains things in detail and repeats them if I have trouble understanding them; really great "bedside manner" and makes the patient feel comfortable and relaxed; she assessed my issue, set me on a course of recovery, and I feel like my problem is solved.

I had seen a Podiatrist when I lived in Oregon so thought I knew what to expect here. Dr Higashi far surpassed my expectations. Her exam was incredibly thorough and explanations easy to understand. I feel like she took my other medical conditions into consideration during her exam. This made me feel confident that her treatment plan was comprehensive and appropriate. I highly recommend her.

Got this appointment remarkably fast for a specialty care issue.

I was very pleased with my visit. All my questions were answered. She explained why my foot was hurting and what would help my problem. She filled out a form that listed what kind of shoes and arch supports would help my problem and where I could find them. This was very helpful for me. I am now in the process of getting my arches in the position they should be instead of being flat. This is a process but is getting much better day by day. I really had a helpful and pleasant appointment.

The provider was excellent. However, it took over a month to be seen, and by that time my foot problem was not so obvious. Still, the provider was able to help me understand the issue and how to follow up with corrective actions. Also, importantly, she found an area of bone inflammation on a plain foot x-ray that the radiologist previously had completely missed (The x-ray had been resulted as "negative").

The last podiatrist didn't listen, barely looked at my toe, and recommended do nothing or do the same thing that was done 2 years ago and didn't work. Dr Higashi listened to the history, reevaluated my toe and provided a recommendation that offered treatment of the real problem.
