This last visit with podiatrist was very good. It does take a while to get an appointment but that's pretty standard. Most the problems I have with Providence have to do with your automated information. All the doctors and people working in the offices seem to be very good. you need somebody to write your apps better

Dr Lee and his team are incredible, friendly, helpful and know what they are doing! I'm so grateful to Dr Lee. He was able to spare me the pain and suffering of a surgery, applied other treatments and techniques to heal my broken bone. He was thorough, patient and supportive. Always listened to my concerns and guided me through the healing process. The team are amazing. Scheduling is so easy and the casting team made the entire experience fun!!!! No one wants a broken bone, but if it was to happen again, I know I have a best care here at Providence St Jude!!

The scheduler for appointments was extremely helpful with getting me in , as it was a toe issue and she got me in as soon as she could. Dr. Lee is the podiatrist I always see. He is the most excellent doctor ever. I followed him over from his private practice to Providence because he is the best ever.he has helped me through some bad stuff with my feet, Being diabetic. I find the office people to be caring and very polite. This makes a huge difference when you don't feel well. I thank Providence for hiring such a wonderful staff! Hod bless!

I found Dr. Lee difficult to communicate with. I don't think this man ever smiles? He did not put me at ease. Dr. Lee had ordered orthodics for me on my first visit and ordered X-rays. He told me that the orthoics company would contact me. That is not true. He also said that if the orthodics I purchased over the counter did not help, he would give me a cortisone injection for my painful neuroma. He didn't explain that this also maybe Diabetic neuropathy. When I returned for my second visit, I told him that I had not been contacted and I was still experiencing pain and asked for the injection to help. He kept hedging my request until I asked him out right if it was detrimental to me? He said no. I asked what was his hesitation? Dr. Lee said that it might not work? My thought was, it might! Then I asked about side effects? He said that there were none. I am thinking he forgot that I am diabetic and it would affect my blood sugar? Dr. Lee said that I was approved to see the company he recommended and I should call. Then he left after my injection. The medical assistant came in with two new places to call that [ID] would accept. At the time, I did not know that [ID] does not pay for orthodics unless there is a leg brace involved? I told the MA that I would call the one he gave me because to two other places he said to give me was in Santa Ana. This place was in Tustin. I told her that he had said I could go to the Tustin location. She checked my medical records on the screen and said yes. You are approved and can go there and that there is also a place at their location in the other building. I was so frustrated with my visit that I called and asked if I could see the other doctor, Dr. Keplinger? The phone scheduler that lI spoke to said she would leave a message for her and that she had to approve my changing doctors. To this day I have not heard from her either. I am now considering seeing a doctor outside of Providence St. Jude. I believe that Dr. Lee and his staff should know that [ID], and therefore a secondary Insurance will not approve the orthodics he was ordering. Plus he did not look at my medical history to warn me about my blood sugar.

He doesn't take the time to consider my unique, and very specific issues/symptoms. He's a Podiatrist that doesn't exam my feet, watch me walk, check my shoes or my orthotics, etc., in order to understand and diagnose the problem as accurately as possible. He then makes general suggestions that would apply to any patient complaining of foot pain, something that anyone can find from a 5 min. Google search. He has a very friendly demeanor, which is a plus of course, but I need a Podiatrist that will listen and thoroughly exam my particular situation in order to give me the best chance at improving the pain and limitations that I'm facing due to my foot problems. He may be entirely competent, unfortunately that has not been my experience the few times that I've seen him.

The doctor asked me why I was there. I told him I had had X-rays. He didn't know that. He was the one who requested them. It seemed like he didn't know anything about my appt. This appt was rather impersonal.

Office was clean. Dr.Lee did a good painless job of removing the calluses on the feet.

Dr. Lee provided me with several options to deal with the pain that results from the [Name(s)] neuroma. He offered me a prescription ointment fro the pain, and a referral to try acupuncture to help with the pain.
