Bryan D. Katz, DPM

Dr. Katz is the newest member of the High Desert Foot and Ankle team. After graduating from UC Irvine, he received his podiatric education at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He then completed a comprehensive clinical and surgical three year residency at VA West Los Angeles, Olive View–UCLA Medical Center, and Kaiser Woodland Hills. There he developed a strong background in treating a multitude of foot and ankle pathology ranging from bunions and hammertoes to trauma such as ankle fractures and achilles tendon ruptures. His training also emphasized diabetic limb salvage and he has extensive experience in treating both acute and chronic wounds with the goal of preventing amputations.

Dr. Katz prides himself in providing comprehensive care ranging from conservative treatments to surgical intervention. He has experience providing care to diverse populations with a wide range of pathology. Most importantly, he stresses patient education with great bedside manner that promotes trust between him and the patient.
